There was a farmer Jack who had a big farm
Every week he went to the market
To get more seeds and manure for his garden
He looked forward to a bountiful harvest
Jack would always take his Donkey along
To carry the load but the donkey was overworked
One day he went to the market and got some sacks
The stacks were filled with good manure
On the way back home, he overloaded it
The climb to the town was really steep
Along the way, Jack saw some wood
This would be useful for my garden, Jack said
He placed some logs on the overloaded donkey
This is hardly any weight" he said to the donkey
After sometime, he came across sugarcane fields
He took two and loaded the donkey again
After climbing for a while, Jack felt hot and sweaty
He unbuttoned his coat and placed it on the donkey
The donkey collapsed and couldn't get up
Jack promised himself not to be ever unkind again.
