A dog decided to leave his home in the forest
He moved to the city to become man’s friend
When he arrived in the city, he was confused
He didn’t know what man looked exactly like

Since he had never met a man before
He set out to find a man to make friend with
During his thorough search for man in the city
He chanced upon a monkey along the way

Is this a man? The dog thought to himself
He naively asked the monkey, Are you man?
Oh yes!” the monkey replied, “I am man!”
The monkey attempted to deceive the dog

However, the dog wasn’t convinced with this
So he decided to test the monkey now
The dog had heard that man worships God
He asked the monkey, “Do you know God”

Unfortunately for the monkey, confused and sad
He had never heard about the word God
He assumed it would be a fellow animal and said
Oh yes, I know God very well, he chases the mice daily

The dog finally had an answer from the monkey
He growled at the monkey for its deceit
